Q. Where do I begin my research?
A good place to begin research within your program or major is at the UNE Library Services Subject Guides. Scroll down the Library homepage at www.une.edu/library to select your program’s Subject Guide, which includes suggested print books and ebooks, databases for locating journal articles on specific topics and subjects, websites, and style manuals and citation guides. In addition, you’ll find helpful hints for avoiding plagiarism and a citation management tool for collecting and managing references.
Select one of the Databases to search for journal articles on a specific topic or subject. Enter keywords and topics within the Database search boxes and then hit Search or Enter. Look for the check box to select peer reviewed or scholarly journals.
